Ross University leaves Dominica!
August 3rd 2018 was indeed a very very sad day for the people of Dominica. The relocation of Ross University to Barbados is another economic disaster that they will endure, almost as if being hit by Hurricane Maria twice. It is said that 30% of the economic and recreational activities are sourced from the students and $50 million in loans funded by the local banks are serviced by student rental.
The people of Dominica would have never imagined such an economic tragedy in their lifetime, but we never know what the future holds. Let this be a lesson for any home or investment that one intends to embark upon, that your income must be able to service the debt, and supplemented by the rental income and not serviced primarily by rental.
Let us continue to pray for the people of Dominica and that the Almighty Father will see them through.
